The '69 Z/28 came to us in running condtion, but it was badly in need of a restoration. The car came from New York, and it had more than its share of rust. We stripped it down to a shell, and sent what was left to Professional Cryogenics in Cumming, GA for mdeia blasting. Unfortunately, not much of the original metal survived. The only remaining original metal on the exterior of the car include the tail panel, A-pillars, cowl cover, the LH fender,the front valance,  and the cowl induction hood. Everything else was replaced with new metal, sourced from Vette Parts Plus and John's Classic Cars. Both suppliers were invaluable to get the car where it is right now (almost ready for bodywork and paint). Since the Z/28 is missing the original 302 (replaced by a Larry Smith Racing Engines-built 350), this car has been built with a few non-stock additions, such as a larger camshaft, headers, an Edlebrock intake manifold, and eventually, Daytona Yellow paint with black stripes.
